Description:
Allisha is a attractive mare with lots of substance, fancy gaits and gorgeous color. Excellent broodmare...easy to breed and settle, good mother with no behavioral issues. She is registered as a dark cream, but is actually Champagne; she has amber eyes and freckled pinkish skin, and she will produce champagne babies if you breed her that way. I’ve used her as a Georgian Grande broodmare, but she is also Amish trained to harness, and has been used for farm machinery. To my knowledge is is not trained for under saddle work and I’m not selling her as "broke to ride"; It probably wouldn’t be tough to get her going under saddle though... She’s a willing and quiet natured mare.
She has produced 2 foals for me, and I have no information that she has produced any others. She has not been used in harness for 3+ years ( which is how long I’ve owned her.) She was reportedly trained and used by the Amish, for all sorts of farm work both single and multiple hitch. She has recently been ground driven by my trainer, and she knows her stuff...not spooky with the lines, turns, whoas, backs, moves off well...I just don’t have a cart and harness to drive her with. She is registered as a dark cream, but is actually a lovely light golden Palamino color in her summer coat, and a deep gold in her winter coat.
Tessa stands 15.3HH and weighs approximately 1250# by a weight tape...she’s an easy keeper!
Sire is Ackermans Dan, dam is Clar Ann Blondie, her papers are in hand and ready for transfer. Ackermans Allisha is open for 2009, clean and ready to breed.
