Description: Looking for a very special draft or draft pony (should be bigger than a Halflinger and have a chubby Fjord type build) NO PERCHES! Grade OK, shire and clydes type preferred will considered spotted or belgian types. Between 4 and 15 yo, any sex, must be well broke to drive single and riding like a plug alone is a huge plus. Equipt at a good price included or offered for sake with horse will get my attention (cart harn) Minor vices or quirks ok as long as Im made aware of them. Mild scratches (muck itch) ok. MIGHT (but probably not) would consider a shire or clydes weanling with papers) Prefer something local or FL/GA-I ship mine you ship yours. Please only honest person need reply. Due to a severe family illness a few years ago I had to sell all my drafts and equipt, finally ina position to have the right sweet ride and driving draft horse in my life again and miss driving terribly...no commercial use, pleasure only, adult home-own home and land, older lady. Lots of horse knowledge and exp.-will not play games with dishonest or traders. What I have to offer on trade is a nice gentle QH/appendix type broodmare-had a mild founder and farrier is working on her with corrective shoing but at this point is NOT sound enough to ride but with work may be again-easy to breed and foals easy-gentle to handle, only quirk is tho she will put her front feet in your hands she is not that great for the farrier on back feet and needs mild sedation. Other than that perfectly safe to be and work around and was very safe to ride-not kid safe but int. safe. I have the paper submitted on the one moth old foal at her side to the ABHA,-this is one GORGEOUS little dun type filly born APril 13th 2008-still not sure on color till she shed her foal coat but any way about it she is GORGEOUS and will be reg. ABHA or IBHA or both and has been handled daily, exposed to lots of things and is a people baby. I also have a 14 year old 12.2 h WIDE grade halfliger mare-she has put foals on the ground and is the type you can turn your kids loose with. Will ride anyone from 40 lbs to 200 lbs. Has been used in competivtive shooting by previous owner’s kids but is too slow to make good times. She doesnt have heaves but does have mild allegies that flare depending on the season and the type of hay fed and sometimes her ears and eyes each-that is the only health or issue with her and if you keep her hay wet and only feed the best u usually dont have the itchies. Dust does not bother her, just certain hays. I would like to keep her but if you have the RIGHT DRAFT that rides alone without issue and drives like an honest champ and are offering a package with equipt I might let her go as well. Lets talk. Im serious, and honest, and have lots and lots of pics (could not get them to post here but can email)- you should too! THANKS for helping me put my dream back together.
